The week started with SeAMK Pre-EAIE Partner Meeting Days in Seinäjoki. The programme consisted of presentations of the study programmes, RDI (research, development and innovation) and other activities of SeAMK, as well as meetings with the SeAMK teachers and staff members. The guests also had an opportunity to get familiar with our modern campus by visiting all Schools of SeAMK.

Internationalisation is one of the priorities at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK). SeAMK signed a new student exchange agreement with Lakehead University, Canada.

Student Exchange Agreement
Great co-operation between Lakehead University and Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. Dr. Moira McPherson, President and Vice-Chancellor of Lakehead University, and Dr. Tapio Varmola, President of SeAMK are delighted about the new agreement.

SeAMK student and staff exchanges are actively promoted. Also, social programme is arranged for international students throughout the academic year. Yearly around 150 visiting professors and staff members from the partner institutions come to SeAMK. Academic exchange works on the basis of reciprocity.
