Coronavirus does not cause any changes for SeAMK’s basic operations at the moment – Remember to take care of good hand hygiene!
At the beginning of the year, an epidemic caused by the new coronavirus COVID-19 began in China. In Finland THL (Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare) is monitoring the international situation with the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
For the time being, the coronavirus does not cause any changes or special arrangements for SeAMK’s basic operations. However, staff and students need to take care of good hand hygiene and follow instructions for coughing, nose-blowing and sneezing.
SeAMK staff and students, who are at the moment abroad, have been contacted. International mobility services will continue to be in contact with the relevant members of staff and students abroad, and provide up-to-date information.
If you suspect of having a corona infection, it is very important to contact the Hospital District of South Ostrobohnia by calling to number 116117 for detailed instructions on how to seek treatment. The medical helpline 116117 is available 24/7. The calls are answered by specially trained nurses every day around the clock. The service features a call-back system and all calls are recorded.
SeAMK’s Security Management will follow the situation and authority guidelines. Updated information can be found on this coronavirus infopage >
